Gingered Rice and Apple Stuffed Squash

2 medium acorn squash
3/4 cup brown rice -- raw
2 tablespoons tamari soy sauce
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 small onion -- chopped
2 medium apples, peeled -- sliced
1/3 cup chopped almonds
1/2 cup skim milk
1/4 cup dry red wine
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons ginger -- freshly grated
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350=B0. Cut squashes in half, place cut side
down on

g sheet, and cover with foil. Bake 35 to 45 minutes, until
