1. A spoonful of vinegar added to the cooking water of cauliflower keeps the ve
getable white and the air fresh.

2. Catsup and other condiments will last longer if you add a teaspoon of vinega
r to the bottles.

3. Keep hard-boiled eggs from cracking by adding vinegar to the cooking water.

4. Prevent peeled, raw potatoes from discoloring by adding a tablespoon of vine
gar to the soaking water. They'll stay white for a few days in the refrigerator
